Vault One Gallery presents to the public emerging and mid-career contemporary visual artists from Transylvania, Romania. Through this program, the gallery aims to support their creative potential in achieving local and regional cultural impact by organizing high-quality art exhibitions at its gallery located in the historic center of Cluj-Napoca, at partner locations, and within events where a diverse audience can engage with contemporary art.

Visual arts have long been celebrated as a means of expressing emotions, feelings, and perspectives on the current world. However, the world of visual arts is often perceived as an exclusive realm, accessible only to the privileged few who have been initiated into this fascinating universe. For this reason, our goal is to raise awareness among a wider audience, bringing back the texture of brushstrokes and the unmistakable value of authentic human expression, emotions, atmosphere, and unique moments, thereby extracting the viewer from the increasingly impersonal digital environment.

Thanks to the excellent selections made by our curators, both internal and invited, the works of the artists we collaborate with are exhibited in our gallery space in Cluj-Napoca, located in a co-working office building, as well as in improvised pop-up locations such as our partners' offices, industrial halls, restaurants, or other requested venues.
