OCU is a Romanian visual artist whose practice moves fluidly between murals, painting, installation, illustration, and spatial interventions. Emerging from the streets of Romania and expanding internationally through exhibitions, collaborations, and public works, she has developed a distinct visual language rooted in movement, intuition, and emotional intensity. Her works inhabit a universe of organic forms, voluptuous compositions, vivid contrasts, and fluid structures that oscillate between playfulness and tension. Presented in public spaces, galleries, cultural and private spaces, as well as institutions such as MNAC and MARE Museum in Bucharest, her practice resists fixed definitions. For OCU, art is not separate from life, but a direct extension of the way she experiences, observes, and translates the world around her.
