Mihai Răuță (b. 1969) is a conceptual explorer of consciousness. For him, the camera is a tool to "steal" fragments of the present—a meditative practice of being truly there. His art is a sincere journey into "strange beauty," wandering between light and shadow to find the silent interplay between nature and the urban soul. He published the manifesto Xex libris (2022) and Rafinăria Steaua Română (2024). His exhibitions include Mobu Art (2024, 2025) and "Suprapuneri" (2023, 2024). In 2025, he held the solo exhibition "Râul se întâmplă fără efort, natural" at Atelier 030202. He also organized and curated the concept Raiffeisen Art@Work throughout 2024–2025. Mihai’s practice is defined by a profound connection: once, while zooming into a photo of a wild bird, he saw his own reflection in its eye—a reminder that in the act of truly seeing, we are also seen.
