Bogdan Matei (b. 1995) is a visual artist and teaching assistant at the West University of Timișoara. His practice explores the relationship between art and technology, investigating the intersection between physical and virtual space and how they mutually influence one another. His works have been presented in international contexts and prestigious institutions, such as Ars Electronica Festival, Kunsthalle Bega, Bucharest Biennale 10, MNAC Bucharest, BDF Festival, La Gaîté Lyrique, ICR Rome, ICR London, and the ArtEncounters Foundation. In a reality dominated by continuous flows of information, his practice becomes a critical space for reflection.
