hree years ago, my life changed forever. I am a Ukrainian artist — someone forced to leave home and start anew in Romania. These works reflect how I see this new world — Romania through the eyes of a guest, learning again to feel, believe, create, and breathe. I speak not in words, but through color, form, and symbol — warm, simple shapes rooted in folk tradition, reimagined with a modern spirit. My paintings blend Ukrainian roots with Romanian nature, architecture, and motifs — everything that surrounded and comforted me here. I came to a country I knew little about, yet found kindness and warmth in the people — gestures that needed no words. As an artist, I express what I cannot say: emotions, impressions, the silent gratitude I feel. This exhibition brings together two worlds: the one I left behind, and the one that embraced me. It is more than what I’ve seen — it’s a tribute to the land that sheltered me and the people who opened their hearts. I invite you to see through my eyes, to feel the sincerity in every brushstroke. Because art speaks where words cannot — and it always speaks to all of us.
